Students can choose from a variety of classes each semester. During Spring and Fall semesters, students are required to take one 3000 or 4000 level Art History course. We recommend that students take an additional 3 courses to total 12-13 credit hours. It is possible for a student to enroll in 15-16 credit hours (a total of 5 classes) bearing circumstances at his/her home institution. Various humanities course are also offered during the Spring and Fall semester which may include: Classics, English, and Creative writing. During the summer, students can take 3 classes. They are highly encouraged to take Art History 3020 as it is such an important part of the program. Non-studio majors who have not completed Drawing I, Color Theory, 2-D and 3-D Design can choose from Ceramics, Jewelry, and Paper Making/Book Arts. One-month course are offered during "Maymester" and may include: Science, Viticulture and Enology, and Theatre.
