Study Abroad in Cortona

UGA Cortona

Why study abroad with UGA Cortona? Since 1970, the University of Georgia Cortona Program, located in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy, has been a leader in education abroad. It is UGA’s oldest study abroad program, calling the town of Cortona home for over 50 years. You will be housed in a UGA-owned facility whose foundation dates back to the 15th century with UGA staff and knowledgeable faculty on hand during your entire study abroad experience.

Painting Studios

The Betty F. King Painting Studio is one of UGA Cortona’s most remarkable studio spaces. Located in the JDK Center, it is a deconsecrated chapel, fully renovated and equipped with full-spectrum studio lighting and a radiant heating system beneath its terra cotta floor.
